Natalie Bermúdez Morales – Head Coach / Entrenadora Principal

Natalie Bermúdez Morales leads the Puerto Rico Women’s Senior Team Coaching Staff for her third WL-sanctioned international tournament. In 2019, she guided the Women’s U19 Team at the World Championship to an 8-0 record and also led the Women’s Senior Team to a Silver Medal at the Regional Qualifying Tournament. Bermúdez Morales previously led the women’s lacrosse program at Felician University (NJ) and as a college player, was Georgian Court University’s first 100-point scorer in school history. She is also a US Lacrosse certified match official. Her family hails from Rio Grande, PR.
Russell Allen – Assistant Coach, Attack / Entrenador Asistente de Ataque
Orange, CT / Ponce, PR
Russell Allen joins the staff with over a decade of coaching experience at the high school, club, and college levels. He currently oversees the women’s program at Concordia University Chicago, where he set the school record for wins in a season in his first year as head coach. Prior to Concordia, Allen led the program at his alma mater, Medaille College (NY), and was named both the AMCC and NEAC Coach of the Year while attaining the most wins and highest winning percentage in program history. His family hails from Ponce, PR.
Christina Anderson – Assistant Coach, Midfield / Entrenadora Asistente de Mediocampo

Christina Anderson joins the staff with over 18 years of coaching experience from the youth through collegiate levels. She is the Co-Founder and Program Director at The Lax Box, a premier lacrosse training facility in Jacksonville, FL and the Head Coach for the University of North Florida Women’s Club team. Anderson was a four-year letterwinner in midfield at Queens University of Charlotte (NC), where she led the team in multiple statistical categories and earned Offensive MVP, Conference, and Player of the Week accolades.
Kara Koolage – Assistant Coach, Midfield / Entrenadora Asistente de Mediocampo
Jacksonville Beach, FL / Aguada, PR
Kara Koolage joins the staff with multiple years of experience as a high school, club and college lacrosse coach and fitness training professional. She is currently the Head Coach at Fletcher High School (FL) and previously coached on the staffs at Salisbury University and Florida Southern University. Koolage was captain and four-year letterwinner at Salisbury, where she won two National Championships as a player and one as a coach. She also founded Duval Lax, a competitive travel club program in Jacksonville, FL. She lives in Aguada, PR.
Sophia Lugo Nieves – Assistant Coach, Defense / Entrenadora Asistente de Defensa
Chicago, IL / Sabana Grande & Caguas, PR
Sophia Lugo Nieves rejoins Bermudez Morales’ staff after partnering with her in 2019 with the Women’s U19 and Women’s Senior Qualifying Tournament teams, and brings many years of experience at the youth, high school, club, and college levels. Lugo Nieves currently coaches at Evanston Township High School (IL), serves on the staff at Elmhurst College under Kali Bills, and is a US Lacrosse / Sankofa Lacrosse clinician. Lugo Nieves was recently named Head Coach of our Women’s U19 National Team. Her family hails from Sabana Grande and Caguas, PR.
D. Ming – Assistant Coach, Defense / Entrenadora Asistente de Defensa
Dee Stephan joins the staff and brings over 25 years experience coaching at the youth, high school, club, and NCAA levels. She was recently named as Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach of Eastern Connecticut State University, is a member of the Connecticut Lacrosse Hall of Fame for her contributions to the sport, and has served in multiple capacities at US Lacrosse, including the organization’s Advisory Board. Stephan founded Dodgers Lacrosse, an elite lacrosse club program with players from 11 states and Canada. Her family hails from San Juan, PR.
Keith Burns – Strength & Conditioning Coach / Preparador Físico
Toms River, NJ
Keith Burns rejoins our staff after working with our Women’s U19 National Team in 2019. He brings over 20 years of strength training and conditioning experience, working with athletes at the high school, college, and professional levels, including stints with the White Sox, Phillies, and Tigers organizations. Burns is on the Health Sciences faculty at Raritan Valley Community College (NJ) and oversees the Human Performance Lab. He holds a B.S. in Physical Education from the University of Delaware and an M.S. in Human Movement from A.T. Still University.
Dr. Adam Wright – Mental Coach / Preparador Mental
Dr. Adam Wright joins our team as our Mental Performance Coach. He is a Co-founder and Director of Performance at Elevate Performance Group. Dr. Wright holds a Bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University in Philosophy (Maxima Cum Laude) and Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Temple University in Kinesiology with a specialization in Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology.
